Danville coach Ed McKinney started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Dante Hayden, 5-11 Fr. Ontario Hill, 6-0 Jr. Jalen Dunn, 5-9 Fr. Demauriah Brown, and 5-10 Jr. Jarius Bryant.  Madison Southern coach Austin Newton countered with 6-5 Sr. Nate Turner, 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson, 6-5 Jr. Brett Erslan, 6-0 So. Braden Hudson, and 6-3 So. Jay Rose.

Madison Southern outscored Danville 29-10 in the third quarter on their way to a 73-57 victory.  Madison Southern shot 56.9% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 20 Danville turnovers.  Danville shot 42.2% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Admirals connected on 13 of 25 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Madison Southern turnovers.

Jay Rose led a balanced Madison Southern offense with 18 points and five rebounds.  Nate Turner added 17 points including two three point baskets, and eight rebounds.  Brett Erslan recorded 16 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Blake Simpson chipped in with 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists.  Braden Hudson added five points, eight rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals.

Dante Hayden led Danville with 14 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.  Jalen Dunn added 10 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.  5-8 Sr. Jaiden Hannibal recorded 10 points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Ontario Hill and Jarius Bryant each recorded nine points.
