Pulaski County coach Chris Adkins started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Aubrey Daulton, 5-8 Sr. Madelyn Blankenship, 5-10 So. Sydney Martin, 5-4 Sr. Caroline Oakes, and 5-7 So. Maggie Holt. Knott County Central coach Jeff Honeycutt countered with 5-8 Jr. Abby Maggard, 5-7 Sr. Brooke Mason, 5-9 Sr. Kelsey Noble, 5-3 So. Kylie Gayheart, and 5-2 Jr. Ally Hall.
Pulaski County defeated Knott County Central by the score of 67-43. Pulaski County shot 36.4% from the field including eight of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Maroons connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 19 Knott County Central turnovers. Knott County Central shot 34.1% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc. They connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored seven points off nine Pulaski County turnovers.
Caroline Oakes led Pulaski County with 20 points including two three point baskets, eight of nine free throws, three rebounds, and four assists. Sydney Martin added 12 points, eight rebounds, and two steals. Aubrey Daulton recorded eight points and six rebounds. 5-5 8th Grade Madeline Butcher chipped in with seven points including four of four free throws. Maggie Holt recorded five points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
Ally Hall led Knott County Central with eight points including two three point baskets. 5-9 So. Haley Combs added seven points and five rebounds. 5-9 Fr. Akasia Bentley recorded six points and three rebounds. Kylie Gayheart chipped in with four points, three rebounds, six assists, and two steals.
