LaRue County coach Paul Childress started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Carson Childress, 6-1 Jr. Luke Trumbo, 6-6 So. Cutter Boley, 5-9 Jr. Caden Davis, and 6-0 Jr. Jaxson Thomas.  Madison Southern coach Austin Newton countered with 6-3 So. Jay Rose, 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson, 6-5 Sr. Nate Turner, 5-8 Fr. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 So. Braden Hudson.

Madison Southern defeated LaRue County by the score of 68-57.  Madison Southern shot 56.8% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 13 of 22 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 18 LaRue County turnovers.  LaRue County shot 42.2% from the field including eight of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Hawks connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Madison Southern turnovers.

6-5 Jr. Brett Erslan led Madison Southern with 18 points and four rebounds.  Erslan was eight of nine from the field and two of four from the free throw line.  Jay Rose added 18 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and three assists.  Blake Simpson recorded nine points and six rebounds.  Braden Hudson chipped in with eight points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Carson Childress led LaRue County with 20 points including five three point baskets and five rebounds.  Cutter Boley added 20 points including seven of 10 free throws.  Jaxson Thomas recorded four points, six rebounds, and five assists.
