Frankfort coach Butch Jointer started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Carter Gilbert, 5-9 Jr. Ashtin Austin, 6-1 Jr. Caleb Hack, 5-8 Sr. Charles Ellis, and 5-9 Jr. Jordan Blythe.  Madison Southern coach Austin Newton countered with 6-5 Sr. Nate Turner, 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson, 6-5 Jr. Brett Erslan, 6-0 So. Braden Hudson, and 6-3 So. Jay Rose.

Madison Southern trailed 35-26 at halftime but rallied for a 68-59 victory over Frankfort.  There were eight lead changes and five ties in this game.  Madison Southern shot 46.9% from the field including 10 of 27 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 Frankfort turnovers.  Frankfort shot 44% from the field including eight of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 15 points off nine Madison Southern turnovers.

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 31 points including six three point baskets, five of six free throws, seven rebounds, and three assists.  Brett Erslan added eight points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Nate Turner recorded seven points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Braden Hudson chipped in with five points, nine rebounds, and three assists.

Jordan Blythe led Frankfort with 24 points including two three point baskets, four of five free throws, and five rebounds.  Charles Ellis added 16 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  Ellis was six of six from the field including four of four from beyond the arc.  Caleb Hack recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists.
