LaRue County coach Paul Childress started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Carson Childress, 6-1 Jr. Luke Trumbo, 6-6 So. Cutter Boley, 5-9 Jr. Caden Davis, and 6-0 Jr. Jaxson Thomas. Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall countered with 6-1 Sr. Jack Preston, 6-1 Fr. Andersen Green, 6-3 Jr. Tyler Hall, 5-9 Jr. Eli Green, and 5-10 Fr. Hagan Preston.
LaRue County defeated Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 66-58. LaRue County shot 37.2% from the field including seven of 26 from the three point line. The Hawks connected on 27 of 32 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 51.2% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc. Tyler Hall led LCA with 17 points including two three point baskets, three of three free throws, and four rebounds. Andersen Green added 15 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists. 6-0 So. Brayden Mirus recorded 13 points including six of six free throws, two rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
