Bourbon County vs. Scott County (Boys)

Bourbon County coach Lamont Campbell started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. DeJohn Blunt, 6-0 Fr. Kaden Hilander, 6-3 Jr. Zaeland Greene, 5-7 Jr. Todd Dumphord, and 5-10 So. Layton Starks.  Scott County coach Tim Glenn countered with 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-1 Sr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton, and 5-10 Sr. Andrew Willhite.

 

Scott County defeated Bourbon County by the score of 73-45.  Scott County shot 53.7% from the field including 12 of 25 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on three of three free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 13 Bourbon County turnovers.  Bourbon County shot 37.8% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored five points off 14 Scott County turnovers.

 

Isaiah Haynes led Scott County with 17 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Jeremy Hamilton added 13 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots, and two steals.  Nick Mosby recorded 12 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Andrew Willhite chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets and four assists.

 

DeJohn Blount led Bourbon County with 13 points including five of eight free throws, five rebounds, and five steals.  Layton Starks added 11 points, three rebounds, and two steals.  5-8 Jr. Miles Ezell recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.
