Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Jack Ackerman, 6-0 Sr. Logan Taylor, 6-6 Sr. Abe Nelson, 5-6 So. Yashiro Hurst, and 6-0 Sr. Javon Adams.  Woodford County coach Jaron Brown countered with 6-3 Fr. Jasper Johnson, 6-1 So. Taylor Penn, 6-7 Sr. Jackson Twombly, 5-10 Sr. Brian White, and 6-2 Jr. Aden Nelson.

 

Woodford County outscored Lafayette 32-9 in the second quarter on their way to a 76-49 victory.  Woodford County shot 54.1% from the field including seven of 21 from the three point line.  The Yellowjackets connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 37 points off 23 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 34.1% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 30  rebounds, and scored four points off nine Woodford County turnovers.

 

Jackson Twombly led Woodford County with 16 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three steals.  6-8 Jr. John McCrear added 12 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.  Brian White recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.  5-8 Fr. Santonio Waide chipped in with nine points, two rebounds, and six assists.  Jasper Johnson recorded eight points, three rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals.

 

Abe Nelson led Lafayette with 21 points and three rebounds.  Logan Taylor added nine points including five of six free throws and seven rebounds.  Jack Ackerman recorded four points, eight rebounds, and two steals.
