Nicholas County coach Greg Letcher started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Tessa Humphries, 5-5 So. Sydney Carpenter, 5-10 Sr. Melanie Hatton, 5-4 Jr. Jada Cleaver, and 5-5 Jr. Amberlee Hedges.  Lexington Catholic coach Lee Tegt countered with 5-10 Jr. Katherine Truitt, 5-8 Fr. Abby Hammond, 5-9 So. Lydia Kennedy, 5-7 Jr. Lucy Nash, and 5-7 Sr. Hannah Carlisle.

Lexington Catholic defeated Nicholas County by the score of 68-36.  Lexington Catholic shot 50% from the field including 10 of 23 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 37 points off 29 Nicholas County turnovers.  Nicholas County shot 30.3% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Jackets connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 19 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Katherine Truitt led Lexington Catholic with 17 points on five of five from the field and seven of seven free throws.  Hannah Carlisle added 15 points on five three point baskets, four assists, and two steals.  5-9 So. Marielle Sackleh recorded nine points. 

Jada Cleaver led Nicholas County with 13 points including two three point baskets, five of eight free throws, three rebounds, and two steals.  5-7 Fr. Nevaeh Davis added 11 points including five of six free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Melanie Hatton recorded seven points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
