Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Jack Ackerman, 6-0 Sr. Logan Taylor, 6-6 Sr. Abe Nelson, 5-6 So.Yashiro Hurst, and 6-0 Sr. Javon Adams.  East Jessamine coach Matthew Chewning countered with 6-2 Sr. Turner Shouse, 6-0 Jr. Isaiah Daniel, 6-3 Sr. Brycen Hubbard, 5-8 Jr. Hayden Frazier, and 5-8 Jr.Nicholas Thompson.

 

Lafayette outscored East Jessamine 24-7 in the third quarter on their way to a 73-49 victory.  Lafayette shot 53.2% from the field including seven of 17from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down38 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 15 East Jessamine turnovers.  East Jessamine shot 35.3% from the field including nine of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on four of 13 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Abe Nelson led Lafayette with 18 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Jack Ackerman added 17 points including five of six free throws and 12 rebounds.  Yashiro Hurst recorded seven points, two rebounds, and four assists.  Logan Taylor chipped in with seven points.  6-0 8th Grade Demarcus Surratt added eight points including two three point baskets.

 

Hayden Frazier led East Jessamine with 16 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists.  5-10 Jr. Jacob Lockett added nine points on three three point baskets.  Turner Shouse recorded seven points, three rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.
