Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Lauren Thomas, 5-6 So. Timarri Miller, 5-11 Sr.Kennedy Williams, 5-2 Fr. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-7 So. Allison Stone.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 Sr. Olivia Cathers, 5-10 Fr. Savannah Wilson, 5-10 So. Narrah Wilson, 5-1 Sr. Catherine Jacobs, and 5-5 Jr. Gracyn Grantz. (Lafayette was without 6-1 Sr. Anaya Brown for this game).

 

Henry Clay outscored Lafayette 19-6 in the third quarter on their way to a 52-37 victory over the Lady Generals.  The score was tied three times and there were 11 lead changes in this game.  Henry Clay shot 47.4% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 19 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 42.9% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on three of five free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Allison Stone led Henry Clay with 24 points including four three point baskets, eight of 10 free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Kennedy Williams added nine points and four rebounds.  Ariyana Sutton recorded eight points, four rebounds, and three steals.  Timarri Miller chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, and three steals.

 

Olivia Cathers led Lafayette with 24 points including three three point baskets, three of five free throws, seven rebounds, and three steals.  Savannah Simpson added four points, two rebounds, and three assists.
