Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Lauren Thomas, 5-6 So. Timarri Miller, 5-9 Jr. Jamya Smith, 5-2 Fr. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-7 So. Allison Stone.  Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly countered with 5-9 Sr. Allison Wallace, 5-9 Sr. Bresha Love, 6-2 So. Ayanna Sarai-Darrington, 5-4 Fr. Kate Baker, and 5-7 Fr. Niah Rhodes.

 

Frederick Douglass defeated Henry Clay by the score of 72-62.  Frederick Douglass shot 57.4% from the field including two of six from the three point line.  The Broncos connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 22 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 35.7% from the field including 11 of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 11 of 21 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 28 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

 

Ayanna Sarai-Darrington led Frederick Douglass with 21 points and 18 rebounds.  Allison Wallace added 13 points including five of five free throws, 10 rebounds, and two steals.  Niah Rhodes recorded 13 points including two three point baskets.  Kate Baker chipped in with eight points, five assists, and two steals. 5-6 Sr. Kennedi Brooks added seven points, six rebounds, and two steals.

 

Allison Stone led Henry Clay with 25 points including five three point baskets, six of nine free throws, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  5-8 So. Lydia VanMeter added 13 points including three three point baskets, and three rebounds.  Ariyana Sutton recorded 11 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
