Bryan Station coach Serena Sandusky started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Tania Woodall, 5-11 So. Victory Sledge, 5-11 So. Kailyn Gentry, 5-6 Jr. Makari Murphy, and 5-6 Jr. Emily Gomez.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-10 8th Grade Kierstin Young, 5-6 Fr. Maleiyah Moore, 6-1 Sr. Kenady Tompkins, 5-5 Jr. Kelsie Hall, and 5-6 Sr. Emma Price.

 

Bryan Station raced out to a 24-6 first quarter lead on their way to a 67-48 victory over Scott County.  Bryan Station shot 38.7% from the field including nine of 24 from the three point line.  The Lady defenders connected on 10 of 22 free throws, pulled down 59 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 29% from the field including five of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 19 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Makari Murphy led Bryan Station with 21 points including five three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals.  Tania Woodall added 16 points and 15 rebounds.  Emily Gomez recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  5-8 Fr. Jailenn Green added nine points and three rebounds.  Kailyn Gentry recorded eight points and eight rebounds.  Victory Sledge pulled down nine rebounds.

 

5-8 Fr. Allison Mosby led Scott County with 13 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals.  Kenady Tompkins added 11 points, 15 rebounds, and eight blocked shots.  Maleiyah Moore recorded nine points, four rebounds, and two assists.  Emma Price chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
