Great Crossing vs. Madison Central (Boys)

Great Crossing coach Steve Page started the following lineup: 6-6 So. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-5 Fr. Vince Dawson, 6-10 Fr. Malachi Moreno, 6-3 Fr. Gage Richardson, and 6-3 Sr. Tye Schureman.  Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-4 Sr. Will Hardin, 6-2 So. Eli Steele, 6-7 Sr. Robby Todd, 5-11 So.Parker Mullins, and 6-6 Jr. Trey Skaggs.

 

Madison Central rallied in the second half to earn a 57-45 come-from-behind victory over Great Crossing.  Madison Central shot 35.45 from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 15 of 18 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 30.4% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Warhawks connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Madison Central turnovers.

 

Will Hardin led Madison Central with 24 points including four three point basket, six of six free throws, 13 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Robby Todd added 23 points including four three point baskets, five of five free throws, 11 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

 

Vince Daeson led Great Crossing with 12 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  5-9 Fr. Junius Burrell added nine points and Jeremiah Godfrey chipped in with eight points.  Malachi Moreno recorded five points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.
