Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Olivia Cathers, 5-10 Fr. Savannah Simpson, 6-1 Sr. Anaya Brown, 5-1 Sr. Catherine Jacobs, and 5-5 Jr. Gracyn Grantz.  Tates Creek coach Matt Yates countered with 5-8 Sr. Joyce Mukalamusi,  5-6 So. Ashton Harris, 5-9 Sr. Elyse Baker, 5-2 Sr. Alisce Lyvers,  and 5-6 Sr. Maddie Kauffman.

 

Tates Creek outscored Lafayette 16-8 in the third quarter on their way to a 55-44 victory over the Lady Generals.  Tates Creek shot 43.8% from the field including two of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 20 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 32% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 20 Tates Creek turnovers.

 

Elyse Baker led Tates Creek with 13 points and seven rebounds.  Alisce Lyvers added 11 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Ashton Harris recorded 11 points and three rebounds.  5-5 Jr. Jada Bell chipped in with eight points and six rebounds. 

 

Anaya Brown led Lafayette with 25 points including six of nine free throws, seven rebounds, three assists, one blocked shot, and four steals.  5-10 Fr. Tess Nelson added six points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Olivia Cathers recorded two points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.
