Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Allison Wallace, 5-9 Sr. Bresha Love, 6-2 So. Ayanna Sarai-Darrington, 5-4 Fr. Kate Baker, and 5-6 Sr. Kennedi Brooks.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 5-10 So. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Eden Carter, 5-9 Sr. Kessaney Melton, 5-6 Fr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Fr. Nataya Strader.

Frederick Douglass raced out to a 19-8 first quarter lead on their way to a 54-35 victory over Madison Central.  Frederick Douglass shot 38.5% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  The Broncos connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 26% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 18 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

Allison Wallace led Frederick Douglass with 18 points including three three point baskets, 12 rebounds, and four steals.  Ayanna Sarai-Darrington added 16 points, nine rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals.  Kate Baker recorded eight points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and five assists.  Kennedi Brooks pulled down seven rebounds.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 12 points and eight rebounds.  5-6 Fr. Brooke Campbell added six points on two three point baskets.
