Scott County coach Tim Glenn started the following lineup: 6-4 So. Lamarion McGrapth, 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-4 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton, and 5-10 Sr. Andrew Willhite.  Frederick Douglass coach Jason Moseley countered with 6-7 Jr. Tyson Barrett, 6-0 Jr. Tylon Webb, 6-7 Sr. Shemar O’Roy-Ford, 5-5 Fr. Armelo Boone, and 5-10 Fr. Aveion Chenault.

Frederick Douglass pulled away in the second half to defeat Scott County by the score of 68-53.  Frederick Douglass shot 42.9% from the field including six of 24 from the three point line.  The Broncos connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 11 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 38% from the field including nine of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on six of six free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

Armelo Boone led Frederick Douglass with 23 points including four three point baskets, three of four free throws, and five rebounds.  Tyson Barrett added 22 points including five of seven free throws, nine rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals.  Tylon Webb recorded 14 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

JZ Middleton led Scott County with 20 points including six three point baskets, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Isaiah Haynes added 14 points including two three point baskets.  Nick Mosby recorded 10 points including six of six free throws and three rebounds.
