Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Jeffrey Selby, 6-1 Fr. Andersen Green, 6-3 Jr. Tyler Hall, 5-8 Fr. Saxton Howard, and 6-0 So. Brayden Mirus.  Grant County coach Joseph Utter countered with 6-4 Jr. Dylan Hammonds, 6-2 Sr. Wayne Ziegler, 6-10 Jr. Micah Wills, 5-9 Sr. Colton Scalf, and 6-1 So. Spencer Breeden.

 

Grant County defeated Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 82-73.  Grant County shot 45.1% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line..  The Braves connected on 33 of 46 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 50.9% from the field including 11 of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Grant County turnovers.  LCA was outscored 33-8 from the free throw line.

 

Dylan Hammonds led Grant County with 29 points including 15 of 19 from the free throw line, and 16 rebounds.  Wayne Ziegler added 20 points including two three point baskets, six of 12 free throws, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Spencer Breeden recorded 15 points including four of four free throws, six rebounds, and three assists.  Micah Wills chipped in with 12 points and four rebounds.

 

Brayden Mirus led LCA with 18 points including four three point baskets, three assists, and two steals.  6-0 Jr. Connor Martin added 14 points including four three point baskets, and four rebounds.  Tyler Hall recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.  Andersen Green chipped in with nine points, three rebounds, and three assists.
