Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Jeffrey Selby, 6-1 Fr. Andersen Green, 6-3 Jr. Tyler Hall, 5-8 Fr. Saxton Howard, and 6-0 So. Brayden Mirus.  Sayre coach Robert Goodman countered with 6-3 Sr. Cole Pennington, 6-1 Jr. Graham Johnson, 6-3 Jr. Davis Miller, 6-0 Sr. Dant Bowling, and 6-0 Sr. Zander Collett.

Sayre trailed 45-41 after three quarters but Sayre rallied in the final quarter to earn a 70-63 victory.  The score was tied seven times and there were 11 lead chnges in the game.  Sayre shot 41.7% from the field including nine of 21 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 21 of 24 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 43.4% from the field including nine of 27 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Sayre turnovers.

Dant Bowling led Sayre with 21 points including three three point baskets, six of six free throws, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Davis Miller added 21 points including three three point baskets, four of six free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Zander Collett recorded 11 points including two three point baskets, three of four free throws, and four assists.  Graham Johnson chipped in with six points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

Andersen Green led LCA with 15 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, and seven assists.  Tyler Hall added 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  Brayden Mirus recorded 12 points including two three point baskets.  6-1 Sr. Jack Preston chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets.
