Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Lydia VanMeter, 5-6 So. Timarri Miller, 5-9 Jr. Jamya Smith, 5-2 Fr. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-7 So. Allison Stone.  Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis countered with 5-11 Sr. Macie Daniels, 5-6 Sr. Morgan Flennery, 5-10 Jr. Bella Moberly, 5-3 8th Grade Hadley French, and 5-5 Jr. Tara Wooten.

 

Henry Clay defeated Madison Southern by the score of 51-41.  Henry Clay shot 42.9% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Madison Southern turnovers.  Madison Southern shot 24.1% from the field including zero of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 15 of 26 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 28 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

5-11 Sr. Kennedy Williams led Henry Clay with 15 points including five of eight free throws, pulled down seven rebounds, and blocked three shots.  Lydia VanMeter added 10 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Allison Stone recorded nine points, four rebounds, and five assists.  Ariyana Sutton chipped in with six points, four rebounds, and five assists.

 

Morgan Flannery led Madison Southern with 12 points including six of 10 free throws, three rebounds, and three steals.  Hadley French added six points and two rebounds.  5-4 Ashlan Estep also scored six points.  Tara Wooten recorded six points, two assists, and four steals.  Macie Daniels chipped in with five point, four rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Bella Moberly added four points and six rebounds.
