Assumption coach Stacy Pendleton started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Grace White, 5-7 So. Taryn Morris, 6-0 So. Delaney Cooper, 5-5 So, Zoe Thompson, and 5-6 So. Geriann Ackermann.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 Fr. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-11 Sr. Josie Gilvin, 6-0 Sr. Alex Wolff, 5-6 Jr. Triniti Ralston, and 5-10 So. Reagan Bender.

Sacred Heart Academy outscored Assumption 34-12 in the first quarter on their way to an 86-40 victory.  Sacred Heart shot 60.7% from the field including six of nine from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 20 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 27.7% from the field including four of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Reagan Bender led Sacred Heart Academy with 16 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  6-3 So. Angelina Pelayo added 16 points on eight of eight from the field and five rebounds.  ZaKiyah Johnson recorded 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Alex Wolff chipped in with 11 points, two rebounds, and three assists.  Josie Gilvin added 10 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and seven steals.  Triniti Ralston recorded eight points including six of six free throws, five rebounds, and four assists.

Grace White led Assumption with 10 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  Delaney Cooper added 10 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists.
