Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Olivia Cathers, 5-10 Fr. Savannah Simpson, 6-1 Sr. Anaya Brown, 5-1 Sr. Catherine Jacobs, and 5-5 Jr. Gracyn Grantz.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 5-10 So. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Eden Carter, 5-9 Sr. Kessaney Melton, 5-7 Fr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Fr.  Nataya Strader.

Madison Central pulled away in the second half to defeat Lafayette by the score of 49-27.  Madison Central shot 48.8% from the field including three of seven from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on four of 10 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 19 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 20.9% from the field including zero of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored six points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 13 points and seven rebounds.  5-7 So. Olivia Metcalfe added 10 points including two three point baskets, and seven rebounds.  Brittany Campbell recorded nine points, eight rebounds, 10 assists, and three steals.  Eden Carter chipped in with eight points and two steals.

Anaya Brown led Lafayette with 14 points and seven rebounds.  Savannah Simpson added seven points, eight rebounds, and two steals.
