Bryan Station coach Serena Sandusky started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Victory Sledge, 5-10 Sr. Tania Woodall, 5-11 So. Kailyn Gentry, 5-6 Jr. Emily Gomez, and 5-8 Fr. Jailenn Green.  Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard countered with 5-10 Jr. Lauren Thomas, 5-8 So. Lydia VanMeter, 5-11 Sr. Kennedy Williams, 5-2 Fr. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-7 So. Allison Stone.

 

Henry Clay led Bryan Station by the score of 29-21 in the first half but Bryan Station rallied for a come-from-behind 57-50 over the Lady Blue Devils.  The score was tied six times and there were seven lead changes in the game.  Bryan Station shot 38% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 27.7% from the field including four of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 10 of 11 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 21 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Jailenn Green led Bryan Station with 14 points including two three point baskets and five steals.  Victory Sledge added 13 points and eight rebounds.  5-6 Jr. Makari Murphy recorded 10 points.  Tania Woodall chipped in with nine points, 16 rebounds, and six assists.  Kailyn Gentry added eight points and four rebounds.

 

Kennedy Williams led Henry Clay with 17 points and eight rebounds.  Lauren Thomas added eight points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Allison Stone recorded six points on two three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists.  Lydia VanMeter chipped in with six points on two three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals.
