Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Aziel Blackwell, 6-2 Jr. Kyan Miller, 6-7 Sr. Brenden Wicker, 5-9 Jr. Konlin Brown, and 6-1 Sr. Kanye Henderson.  Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-6 Jr. Trey Skaggs, 6-4 Sr. Will Hardin, 6-7 Sr. Robby Todd, 5-11 So. Parker Mullins, and 6-5 Jr. Jaylen Davis.

 

Henry Clay led 24-11 in the second quarter but Madison Central rallied to earn a 56-52 overtime come-from-behind victory over the Blue Devils.  Madison Central shot 37% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 15 of 24 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 35.8% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Madison Central turnovers.

 

Jaylen Davis led Madison Central with 19 points including four three point baskets and three rebounds.  Will Hardin added 18 points including two three point baskets, eight of 10 free throws, 14 rebounds, and two assists.  Robby Todd recorded 10 points, nine rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Trey Skaggs chipped in with eight points, four rebounds, and four assists.

 

Kanye Henderson led Henry Clay with 21 points including seven of eight free throws, four rebounds, and four assists.  Konlin Brown added nine points on three three point baskets, and four rebounds. Aziel Blackwell recorded eight points and three rebounds.  Brenden Wicker chipped in with five points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.
