Grant County coach Shawn West started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Emily Naranjo, 5-7 Jr. Sarah Scroggins, 5-7 So. Sarah Russell, 5-4 Jr. Dakota Rowe, and 5-5 Fr. Jada Cummins.  Lexington Catholic coach Lee Tegt countered with 5-10 Jr. Katherine Truitt, 5-9 So. Lydia Kennedy, 5-10 Jr. Olivia Bretz, 5-7 Jr. Lucy Nash, and 5-8 Fr. Abby Hammond.

Lexington Catholic led 33-16 in the second quarter and withstood a late rally by Grant County to earn a 64-61 victory.  Lexington Catholic shot 48% from the field including four of 10 from the free throw line.  The Lady Knights connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Grant County turnovers.  Grant County shot 35.2% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Braves connected on 19 of 23 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 22 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Katherine Truitt added 25 points including eight of 11 free throws, 10 rebounds, and five assists.  Lydia Kennedy added 11 points.  5-8 Sr. Peyton Mayo recorded nine points and five rebounds.  Lucy Nash chipped in with six points.

Emily Naranjo led Grant County with 19 points including seven of nine free throws, six rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Jada Cummins added 14 points including four three point baskets.  Sarah Russell recorded eight points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.  Sarah Scroggins chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.
