Christian Academy of Louisville coach Caryn Kovatch started the following lineup: 5-6 So. Savannah Gardner, 5-6 So. Ella Daniels, 5-8 So. Mariah Knight, 5-7 Sr. Jaya McClure, and 5-6 Sr. Abigail Embry.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 Fr. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-11 Sr. Josie Gilvin, 6-0 Sr.Alex Wolff, 5-8 Jr. Triniti Ralston, and 5-10 So. Reagan Bender.

 

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Christian Academy of Louisville by the score of 68-54.  Sacred Heart shot 42.4% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 36% from the field including five of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, an dscored 15 points off 12 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart Academy with 21 points including three three point baskets, four of five free throws, 13 rebounds, and three assists.  6-3 So. Angelina Pelayo added 14 points, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Triniti Ralston recorded 10 points, two rebounds, four assists, and five steals.  Reagan Bender chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and five assists.  Josie Gilvin added nine points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

 

Jaya McClure led CAL with 22 points including three three point baskets and two steals.  Savannah Gardner added 11 points, nine rebounds, and two steals.  Mariah Knight recorded 10 points including six of eight free throws, and nine rebounds.
