Great Crossing vs. Franklin County (Boys)

Great Crossing coach Steve Page started the following lineup: 6-5 Fr. Vince Dawson, 6-3 Sr. Tye Schureman, 6-10 Fr. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 Fr. Junius Burrell, and 6-3 Fr. Gage Richardson.  Franklin County coach Jonathan Moore countered with 6-3 Sr. Jayden Mattison, 6-0 Sr. Tyler Valentine, 6-7 Sr. Max Mulder, 5-9 Fr. Kiyas White, and 5-8 Jr. Dominck Taylor.

 

Great Crossing defeated Franklin County by the score of 68-42.  Great Crossing shot 51.6% from the field including one of six from the three point line.  The Warhawks connected on their only free throw, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 19 Franklin County turnovers.  Franklin County shot 30.2% from the field including one of six from beyond the arc.  The Flyers connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Great Crossing turnovers. 

 

Vince Dawson led Great Crossing with 23 points, three rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Malachi Moreno added 16 points, nine rebounds, and seven blocked shots.  Junius Burrell recorded nine points, four rebounds, and four steals.  Tye Schureman chipped in with seven points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

 

6-2 Jr. Andrew Chenault led Franklin County with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.  Kiyas White added eight points.  Max Mulder recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.
