Grant County coach Josh Utter started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Dylan Hammonds, 6-2 Sr. Wayne Ziegler, 6-10 Jr. Micah Wills, 5-10 Jr. Daniel Fox, and 6-1 So. Spencer Breeden. Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-6 So. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-3 Sr. Tye Schureman, 6-10 Fr. Malachi Moreno, 5-10 Sr. Carson Walls, and 6-3 Fr. Gage Richardson.
Great Crossing defeated Grant County by the score of 65-53. Great Crossing shot 57.15 from the field including five of 11 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Grant County turnovers. Grant County shot 42.9% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc. The Braves connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 14 Great Crossing turnovers.
5-9 Jr. Junius Burrell led Great Crossing with 23 points and five steals. Gage Richardson added 13 points including three three point baskets. Vince Dawson recorded nine points, three rebounds, and four assists. Malachi Moreno chipped in with three points, 11 rebounds, and six blocked shots.
Dylan Hammonds led Grant County with 15 points, 15 rebounds, and two assists. Micah Wills added 13 points. Wayne Ziegler recorded 12 points, two rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
