Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Aziel Blackwell, 6-2 Jr. Kyan Miller, 6-7 Sr. Brenden Wicker, 5-9 Jr. Konlin Brown, and 6-1 Sr. Kanye Henderson.  Scott County coach Tim Glenn countered with 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-1 Sr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton, and 5-10 Sr. Andrew Willhite.

 

Henry Lynch scored on a putback at the buzzer to give Henry Clay a 47-45 victory over Scott County.  The score was tied five times and there were 10 lead changes in this game.  Henry Clay shot 40.5% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 42.5% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Kanye Henderson led Henry Clay with 11 points including five of eight free throws, six rebounds, and two assists.  Konlin Brown added 11 points including three three point baskets, and two rebounds.  Aziel Blackwell recorded 10 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  6-2 Jr. Henry Lynch chipped in with six points and Brenden Wicker pulled down seven rebounds. 

 

Nick Mosby led Scott County with 17 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists.  Jeremy Hamilton added 11 points, five rebounds, and two steals.  Isaiah Haynes recorded eight points and two rebounds.
