Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Tyra Young, 5-6 Fr. Maleiyah Moore, 6-1 Sr. Kenady Tompkins, 5-4 Sr. Brianna Penney, and 5-6 Sr. Emma Price.  Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard countered with 5-10 Jr. Lauren Thomas, 5-8 So. Elizabeth Nelson, 5-11 Sr. Kennedy Williams, 5-2 Fr. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-8 So. Allison Stone.

 

Henry Clay defeated Scott County by the score of 58-53.  There were four lead changes and three ties in this game.  Henry Clay shot 35.2% from the field including seven of 23 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 36.4% from the field including five of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Allison Stone led Henry Clay with 15 points including two three point baskets, three of four free throws, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Kennedy Williams added 13 points and 11 rebounds.  Ariyana Sutton recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and four steals.  5-8 So. Lydia VanMeter chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets.  Lauren Thomas recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and three steals.

 

Emma Price led Scott County with 16 points including four three point baskets and five rebounds.  Tyra Young added 13 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists.  Kenady Tompkins recorded 12 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.  Maleiyah Moore chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds.
