Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Aziel Blackwell, 6-2 Jr. Kyan Miller, 6-7 Sr. Brenden Wicker, 5-9 Jr. Konlin Brown, and 6-1 Sr. Kanye Henderson.  Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-5 Fr. Vince Dawson, 6-3 Sr. Tye Schureman, 6-10 Fr. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 Fr. Junius Burrell, and 6-3 Fr. Gage Richardson.

 

Great Crossing outscored Henry Clay 25-19 in the final quarter to earn a 63-61 victory over the Blue Devils.  The score was tied six times and there were five lead changes in  the game.  Great Crossing shot 52.3% from the field including four of nine from the three point line.  The Warhawks connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 42.1% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 Great Crossing turnovers.

 

Malachi Moreno led Great Crossing with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists.  Vince Dawson added 18 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  Junius Burrell recorded 16 points including five of six free throws, two rebounds, and two steals.

 

Aziel Blackwell led Henry Clay with 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Kanye Henderson added 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  6-2 Jr. Henry Lynch recorded 10 points on five of seven from the field.  Brenden Wicker pulled down six rebounds.
