Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz started the following lineup: 6-6 Jr. Chandler Starks, 6-1 Jr. Kascyl McGillis, 6-8 Sr. Mitchell Rylee, 5-11 Jr. Evan Ipsaro, and 6-1 So. Brady Hussey.  Oldham County coach Coy Zerhusen countered with 6-7 Sr. Samuel Powell, 6-3 Sr. Cooper Roush, 6-10 Sr. Hayden Burgess, 6-2 Sr. Kenton Sletcher, and 6-3 So. Max Green.

Covington Catholic pulled away in the second half to defeat Oldham County by the score of 83-55.  Covington Catholic shot 58.9% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers.  Oldham County shot 53.5% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  They connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and committed 25 turnovers.

Evan Ipsaro led Covington Catholic with 24 points including six of six free throws, seven assists, and six steals.  Chandler Starks added 13 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Mitchell Rylee recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Brady Hussey chipped in with 10 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.  Kascyl McGillis added 10 points including two three point baskets.

Samuel Powell led Oldham County with 23 points, two rebounds, and two assists.  Hayden Burgess added 10 points including four of six free throws.
