Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Jeffrey Selby, 6-1 Fr. Andersen Green, 6-3 Jr. Tyler Hall, 5-8 Fr. Saxton Howard, and 6-0 So. Brayden Mirus. Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhal III countered with 6-4 Jr. Jack Ackerman, 6-0 8th Grade DeMarcus Surratt, 6-6 Sr. Abe Nelson, 5-11 Jr. Jayd Huynh, and 6-0 Sr. Javon Adams.
Lafayette defeated Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 66-63. The score was tied six times and there were eight lead changes in the game. Lafayette shot 51.2% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Generals connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 LCA turnovers. Jeffrey Selby led Lexington Christian Academy with 12 points and six rebounds. Andersen Green added 12 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Brayden Mirus recorded 12 points including two three point baskets and two rebounds. 6-1 Sr. Jack Preston chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds. Tyler Hall added six points, three rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
