Western Hills coach Geoff Cody started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Walter Campbell, 6-2 Sr. Zach Semones, 6-5 Fr. Javeon Campbell, 5-11 So. Austin Stone, and 6-1 Fr. Elijah Thompson.  Madison Southern coach Austin Newton countered with 6-5 Sr. Nate Turner, 6-4 So. Jay Rose, 6-6 Sr. Hezekiah Fogle, 5-8 Fr. Casen Nobbe, and 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson.

Madison Southern defeated Western Hills by the score of 69-62.  Madison Southern shot 45.3% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Western Hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot 35.3% from the field including five of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Wolverines connected on nine of 19 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 15 Madison Southern turnovers.

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 28 points including three three point baskets, seven of 10 free throws, and four rebounds.  Nate Turner added 15 points, five rebounds, and two steals.  Casen Nobbe recorded 12 points including five of eight free throws, three rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.  6-5 Sr. Brett Erslan chipped in with four points and eight rebounds.

Walter Campbell led Western Hills with 21 points including seven of 11 free throws, 12 rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  5-11 So. Jake Dicken added 12 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Zach Semones recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.  Javeon Campbell chipped in with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
