Boyd County coach Pete Fraley started the following lineup: 6-0 So. Audrey Biggs, 6-0 So. Jasmine Jordan, 6-0 Fr. Sophia Stevens, 5-7 Jr. Jenna Stewart, and 5-9 So. Taylor Bartrum.  Assumption coach Stacy Pendleton countered with 5-9 Sr. Nia Gandolfo, 5-8 Sr. Grace White, 6-0 So. Delaney Cooper, 5-5 So. Zoe Thompson, and 5-6 So. Geriann Ackermann.

Boyd County defeated Assumption by the score of 78-61.  Boyd County shot 45.5% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Lions connected on 22 of 25 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 20 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 39% from the field including eight of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 21 of 35 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Boyd County turnovers.

Audrey Biggs led Boyd County with 26 points including three three point baskets, 13 of 14 free throws, four rebounds, and three assists.  Taylor Bartrum added 21 points including two three point baskets, seven of eight free throws, five rebounds, six assists, and seven steals.  Jasmine Jordan recorded 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Geriann Ackermann led Assumption with 15 points including four three point baskets and five assists.  Delaney Cooper added 14 points including six of six free throws, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Zoe Thompson recorded nine points, two rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots.  5-7 So. Taryn Morris chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds. Grace White added nine points.
