Knox Central vs. Great Crossing (Girls)

Knox Central coach Steve Warren started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Reagan Jones, 5-8 Sr. Zoey Liford, 5-11 Fr. Halle Collins, 5-7 Sr. Caylan Mills, and 5-8 Sr. Presley Partin.  Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-10 So. Ava Schureman, 5-8 So Olivia Tierney, 6-0 Jr. Raegan Barrett, 5-7 Fr. Chapel Brown, and 5-8 Sr. Timothi Williams.

 

Knox Central defeated Great Crossing by the score of 69-39.  Knox Central shot 50.9% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Panthers connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 22.8% from the field including three of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Warhawks connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 17 Knox Central turnovers.

 

Halle Collins led Knox Central with 24 points and 12 rebounds.  Caylan Mills added 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists.  5-5 Fr. Timberly Fredrick recorded 12 points on four three point baskets.  Presley Partin chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

 

Timothi Williams led Great Crossing with 14 points including six of six free throws, four assists, and two steals.  Ava Schureman added seven points and six rebounds.  Chapel Brown recorded six points and five rebounds.  Raegan Barrett chipped in with five points, three rebounds, and two assists.
