Lincoln County vs. Great Crossing (Boys)

Lincoln County coach Jeff Jackson started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Colton Ralston, 6-2 Sr. Jaxon Smith, 6-3 Jr. Jackson Sims, 5-11 Jr. Tramane Alcorn, and 6-0 Sr. Evan Smith.  Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-5 Fr. Vince Dawson, 6-3 Sr. Tye Schureman, 6-10 Fr. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 Fr. Junius Burrell, and 6-3 Fr. Gage Richardson.

 

Great Crossing raced out to a 21-8 first quarter lead but Lincoln County rallied to earn a 64-57 victory over the Warhawks.  There were five lead changes and three ties in this game.  Lincoln County shot 51.2% from the field including 12 of 24 from the three point line.  The Patriots connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored two points off two Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 47.9% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Warhawks connected on six of 16 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 11 points off seven Lincoln County turnovers.

 

Tramane Alcorn led Lincoln County with 20 points including three three point baskets, three of four free throws, and 10 rebounds.  Jaxon Smith added 17 points including three three point baskets, nine rebounds, and five assists.  Colton Ralston recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  Jackson Sims chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.  Evan Smith added eight points and five rebounds.

 

Vince Dawson led Great Crossing with 20 points including two three point baskets, four of five free throws, two rebounds, and three assists.  Malachi Moreno added 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.
