Lexington Catholic coach Lee Tegt started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Katherine Truitt, 5-10 Jr. Olivia Bretz, 5-9 So. Lydia Kennedy, 5-7 Jr. Lucy Nash, and 5-8 Fr. Abby Hammond.  Berea coach Dammian Stepp countered with 5-8 Sr. Alexis Newman, 5-7 Jr. Abigail Beard, 5-9 Jr. Chesney Lovins, 5-1 So. Maddy King, and 5-6 Sr. Mati Stepp.

Lexington Catholic started the game on a 10-0 run but Berea fought back and defeated the Lady Knights 46-43.  Berea shot 46.2% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Pirates connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 46.7% from the field including two of five from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 17 Berea turnovers.

Alexis Newman led Berea with 14 points including three three point baskets, and three rebounds.  Chesney Lovins added 11 points including three of four free throws, and five rebounds.  Maddy King recorded nine points and two rebounds.  Mati Stepp chipped in with eight points including five of six free throws, and five assists.

Katherine Truitt led Lexington Catholic with 12 points including 10 of 10 free throws, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Olivia Bretz added 10 points and three rebounds.  Lydia Kennedy recorded nine points on three of three from the field and three of three from the free throw line and three rebounds.  Abby Hammond chipped in with six points on two three point baskets, two rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
