Lincoln County coach Jeff Jackson started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Colton Ralston, 6-2 Sr. Jaxon Smith, 6-3 Jr. Jackson Sims, 5-11 Jr. Tramane Alcorn, and 6-0 Sr. Evan Smith.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-4 Jr. Hudson Sparks, 6-2 Sr. Jack Gohmann, 6-10 Jr. Reece Potter, 6-0 Sr. Blake Busson, and 6-0 So. John Reinhart.

Lexington Catholic captured a close 55-54 decision over a good Lincoln County team.  There were nine lead changes and six ties in the game.  Lexington Catholic shot 45.2% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored six points off five Lincoln County turnovers.  Lincoln County shot 40.8% from the field including eight of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on six of six free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Reece Potter led Lexington Catholic with 20 points including six of six free throws and eight rebounds.  Jack Gohmann added 18 points, five rebounds, and four assists.  John Reinhart recorded eight points including two three point baskets, four assists, and two steals.

Colton Ralston led Lincoln County with 18 points including four three point baskets and four rebounds. Jaxon Smith added 16 points including six of six free throws, seven rebounds, and two assists.  Jackson Sims recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.
