Tates Creek coach Jarrod Gay Sr. started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Camdyn Combs, 6-0 Jr. Eric Hackett, 6-0 Jr. Mattox Hadley, 5-9 Fr. Dawson Garth, and 6-0 Jr. Jacobi Commodore.  Great Crossing coach Steve Page countered with 6-5 Fr. Vince Dawson, 6-6 So. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-10 Fr. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 Fr. Junius Burrell, and 6-3 Sr. Tye Schureman.

 

Great Crossing defeated Tates Creek by the score of 69-57.  There were 10 lead changes and two ties in this game.  Great Crossing shot 52.8% from the field including zero of eight from the three point line.  The Warhawks connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 12 points off nine Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 40.7% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on four of five free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Great Crossing turnovers.

 

Malachi Moreno led Great Crossing with 22 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Junius Burrell added 10 points including six of seven free throws, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Jeremiah Godfrey recorded 10 points, two rebounds, and three blocked shots.

 

Eric Hackett led Tates Creek with 21 points including four of four free throws, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Jacobi Commodore added 20 points including two three point baskets, and five rebounds.
