Mason County coach Brian Kirk started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Terrell Henry, 6-0 So. Braylon Hamilton, 6-1 Jr. Phillip Bierley, 5-11 Sr. Nate Mitchell, and 5-11 Sr. Mason Butler.  Scott County coach Tim Glenn countered with 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-1 Sr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton, and 5-10 Sr. Andrew Willhite.

Mason County trailed 45-42 after three quarters but rallied in the final quarter to defeat Scott County 63-57.  There were three lead changes and two ties in this game.  Mason County shot 53.3% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Royals connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 10 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 45.3% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Mason County turnovers.

Terrell Henry led Mason County with 26 points on 11 of 11 from the field including one of one from the three point line and three of three free throws.  Nate Mitchell added 14 points including five of nine free throws.  Phillip Bierley recorded nine points and eight points.

Nick Mosby led Scott County with 24 points including two three point baskets, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Isaiah Haynes added 20 points including two three point baskets and two rebounds.
