Franklin County coach Jonathan Moore countered with 6-2 Jr. Andrew Chenault, 6-0 Sr. Tyler Valentine, 6-3 Sr. Jayden Mattison, 5-8 So. Gavin Hurst, and 5-9 Fr. Kiyas White.  Madison Southern coach Austin Newton countered with 6-3 So. Jay Rose, 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson, 6-5 Sr. Nate Turner, 5-8 Fr. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 So. Braden Hudson.

Madison Southern raced out to a 24-9 firsy quarter lead on their way to a 76-62 victory over Franklin County.  Madison Southern shot 52.8% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 franklin County turnovers.  Franklin County shot 47.2% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Flyers connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Madison Southern turnovers.

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 35 points including 12 of 15 free throws, eight rebounds, and three assists.  6-5 Jr. Brett Erslan added 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Braden Hudson recorded 11 points, five rebounds, and eight assists.  Blake Simpson chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.

Gavin Hurst led Franklin County with 21 points including five three point baskets, four of seven free throws, and three steals.  Jayden Mattison added 16 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  6-3 Sr. Lynden Moore recorded 12 points and six rebounds.  Andrew Chenault chipped in with eight points and three rebounds.
