Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-11 Sr. Josie Gilvin, 6-0 Sr. Alex Wolff, 5-8 Sr. Olivia Kaufman, and 5-10 So. Reagan Bender.  Bethlehem coach Jason Clark countered with 5-7 Sr. Bailey Bishop, 5-7 So. Ashlyn Miles, 6-0 Jr. Emma Filiatreau, 5-5 Sr. Kasey Spalding, and 5-5 So. Carlie Thurmond.

 

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Bethlehem by the score of 64-41.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 46.4% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Bethlehem turnovers.  Bethlehem shot 23.8% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Banshees connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.

 

6-3 So. Angelina Pelayo led Sacred Heart Academy with 16 points, four rebound, three blocked shots, and two steals.  Reagan Bender added 14 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  ZaKiyah Johnson recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and four steals.  Olivia Kaufman chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists.  Josie Gilvin added eight points, 13 rebounds, nine assists, three blocked shots, and four steals. 

 

Carlie Thurmond led Bethlehem with 13 points including nine of nine free throws, six rebounds, and two assists.  Emma Filiatreau added 11 points and five rebounds.  Kasey Spalding recorded eight points and four rebounds.
