George Rogers Clark Josh Cook started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Jerone Morton, 6-3 Sr. Tanner Walton, 6-7 Jr. Trent Edwards, 5-9 Sr. Aden Slone, and 6-0 Jr. Sam Parrish.  Scott County coach Tim Glenn countered with 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-1 Sr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton, and 5-10 Sr. Andrew Willhite.

 

George Rogers Clark pulled away in the second half to defeat Scott County by the score of 94-54.  George Rogers Clark shot 57.4% from the field including eight of 17 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 16 of 19 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 11 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 38.2% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored five points off five George Rogers Clarks turnovers.

 

Trent Edwards led a balanced GRC scoring attack with 17 points and nine rebounds.  Jerone Morton added 16 points including five of six free throws, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Sam Parrish also scored 16 points.  5-10 So. Reshaun Hampton recorded 13 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Aden Slone chipped in with 12 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals.  Tanner Walton recorded nine points including five of six free throws, four rebounds, and two assists.

 

Isaiah Haynes led Scott County with 14 points including two three point baskets.  Nick Mosby added 14 points including six of six free throws, three rebounds, and two assists.  Jeremy Hamilton recorded 13 points and 10 rebounds.
