Bourbon County coach Lamont Campbell started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Kaden Hilander, 6-0 Jr. Cortayvion Smith, 6-4 Sr. Sean Reece, 5-10 So. Layton Starks, and 5-11 Fr. Brad Robinson.  Madison Southern coach Austin Newton countered with 6-3 So. Jay Rose, 6-2 Sr. Blake Simpson, 6-5 Sr. Nate Turner, 5-8 Fr. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 So. Braden Hudson.

Madison Southern led by 15 points in the third quarter but Bourbon County cut the margin to 1; 57-56 with a little over a minute left in the game.  However Madison Southern closed the game on a 6-0 run to make the final score a 63-56 victory for Madison Southern.  Madison Southern shot 48% from the field including four of 22 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 20 Bourbon County turnovers.  Bourbon County shot 34% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 26 Madison Southern turnovers. 

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 29 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and four steals.  Nate Turner added 10 points including six of six free throws and 10 rebounds.  6-5 Jr. Brett Erslan recorded eight points, eight rebounds, and two assists.  6-1 So. Zach Hudson chipped in with six points and five rebounds.  Braden Hudson added five points, two rebounds, six assists, two blocked shots, and four steals.

5-7 Jr. Todd Dumphord led Bourbon County with 15 points including six of six free throws, three rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  6-0 Jr. Cain Flynn added 13 points including three three point baskets and two rebounds.  Layton Starks recorded 11 points including seven of 10 free throws, and five rebounds.  Cortayvion Smith chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Sean Reece added seven points and two rebounds.
