North Laurel earned a hard fought 83-77 victory on the road against a talented Corbin team. North Laurel shot 58.9% from the field including 11 of 27 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on six of nine free throws and pulled down 29 rebounds. Corbin shot 40.6% from the field including nine of 29 from beyond the arc. The Red Hounds connected on 12 of 19 free throws and pulled down 26 rebounds.
6-4 Jr. Ryan Davidson led North Laurel with 29 oints and 10 rebounds. Reed Sheppard added 26 points including three three point baskets, three of four free throws, and nine rebounds. 5-11 Sr. Clay Sizemore recorded 17 points including five three point baskets.
6-3 Sr. Brody Wells led Corbin with 22 points including two three point baskets, four of five free throws, and seven rebounds. 6-0 Jr. Hayden Llewelyn added 20 points including three three point baskets and five of eight free throws. 6-0 So. Carter Stewart recorded 13 points including two three point baskets. 6-4 8th Grade Eli Pietrowski chipped in with 10 points.
