Sayre coach Bart Bellairs started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Kylee Dennis, 5-8 Sr. Cat Graves, 6-2 Fr. Ab Cyuzuzo, 5-6 So. Toko Ashida, and 5-6 Jr. Sophia Richardson.  Bryan Station coach Serena Sandusky countered with 5-10 Sr. Tania Woodall, 5-11 So. Victory Sledge, 5-11 So. Kailyn Gentry, 5-6 Jr. Emily Gomez, and 5-8 Fr. Jailenn Green.

 

Bryan Station outscored Sayre 21-10 in the final quarter to earn a 57-50 come-from-behind victory over the Lady Spartans.  Bryan Station actually trailed 30-12 late in the second quarter.  There were four lead changes and three ties in this game.  Bryan Station shot 35.3% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 17 of 27 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 22 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 40.8% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on eight of 17 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 23 Bryan Station turnovers.

 

Victory Sledge led Bryan Station with 16 points including six of eight free throws, 13 rebounds, and two steals.  Jailenn Green added 14 points including five of eight free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and four steals.  Tania Woodall added nine points, eight rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  5-6 Jr. Makari Murphy chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three steals.

 

Kylee Dennis led Sayre with 16 points including five of six free throws, five rebounds, three assists, and 11 steals.  Ab Cyuzuzo added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Sophia Richardson recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and two steals.
