Scott County coach Tim Glenn started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-1 Sr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton, and 5-10 Sr. Andrew Willhite.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-2 Sr. Aziel Blackwell, 6-2 Jr. Kyan Miller, 6-7 Sr. Brenden Wicker, 5-9 Jr. Konlin Brown, and 6-1 Sr. Kanye Henderson.

 

Henry Clay defeated Scott County by the score of 56-43.  Henry Clay shot 48.7% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 16 of 27 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 40% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Cardinals connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Aziel Blackwell led Henry Clay with 23 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Kanye Henderson added 15 points including seven of nine free throws, two rebounds, and three steals.  Brenden Wicker recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.

 

Nick Mosby led Scott County with 28 points including four three point baskets, eight of eight free throws, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Jeremy Hamilton added five points and five rebounds.
