Lexington Christian Academy coach Tim Bradshaw started the following lineup: 5-7 Fr. Claire Roberts, 5-6 8th Grade Jentry Bertram, 5-7 Sr. Sophie Gabbert, 5-5 Jr. Marin Wills, and 5-5 7th Grade Nia Carr.  Tates Creek coach Matt Yates countered with 5-8 Sr. Joyce Mukalamusi, 5-5 Jr. Jada Bell, 5-8 Sr. Jameela Shalash, 5-2 Sr. Alisce Lyvers, and 5-5 Sr. Maddie Kauffman.

 

Tates Creek raced out to a 21-0 first quarter lead on their way to a 59-25 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Tates Creek shot 39.7% from the field including nine of 23 from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 18 Lexington Christian Academy turnovers.  LCA shot 17.8% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored five points off nine Tates Creek turnovers.

 

Maddie Kauffman led Tates Creek with 16 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, three blocked shots, and two steals.  Alisce Lyvers added 10 points including two three point baskets.  5-9 Sr. Elyse Baker recorded eight points and nine rebounds.  5-6 So. Ashton Harris chipped in with six points and seven rebounds.

 

Sophie Gabbert led LCA with 12 points on four three point baskets.  Nia Carr added six points, nine rebounds, and two assists.  Claire Robert chipped in with five points.
