Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Tyler Hall, 6-1 Sr. Jeffrey Selby, 6-4 Sr. Pierce Ragland, 6-0 So. Brayden Mirus, and 6-1 Sr. Jack Preston. Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-4 Jr. Jack Ackerman, 6-0 Sr. Logan Taylor, 6-6 Sr. Abe Nelson, 5-11 Jr. Jayd Huynh, and 6-0 Sr. Javon Adams.
Lexington Christian Academy defeated Lafayette by the score of 53-36. LCA shot 52.6% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on eight of eight free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off five Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 27% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Generals connected on 12 of 12 free throws, pulled down 16 rebounds, and scored 13 points off eight LCA turnovers.
Tyler Hall led LCA with 18 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists. Jeffrey Selby added 11 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots. Jack Preston recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists.
Abe Nelson led Lafayette with 14 points including 10 of 10 free throws. Jayd Huynh added 10 points including two three point baskets.
