Tates Creek coach Jarrod Gay Sr. started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Camdyn Combs, 6-0 Jacobi Commodore, 6-0 Jr. Mattox Hadley, 5-9 Fr. Dawson Garth, and 6-0 Jr. Eric Hackett.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Murray Gavin countered with 6-4 Sr. Zach Carter, 6-1 Jr. Hunter Williams, 6-8 Sr. Lionel Kumwimba, 5-8 Fr. Mason VanDyke, and 6-1 Jr. Nick Spalding.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Tates Creek by the score of 69-62.  Dunbar shot 42.6% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 22 of 27 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 42.6% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 18 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 11 Dunbar turnovers.

 

Zach Carter led Dunbar with 17 points including two three point baskets, five of six free throws, three rebounds, and two assists.  6-1 Jr. Max VanDyke added 15 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and two steals.  Nick Spalding recorded 14 points including 10 of 11 free throws, two rebounds, and two steals.  Hunter Williams chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Lionel Kumwimba added eight points and six rebounds.

 

Eric Hackett led Tates Creek with 16 points including seven of seven free throws and five rebounds.  Jacobi Commodore added 14 points including five of five free throws, five rebounds, and two assists.  Camdyn Combs recorded 10 points including four of five free throws and four rebounds.  Dawson Garth added nine points.
